The Triumvirate of Estate Sellers ... Julie Maynard, Steve Farr and Mark McDonald ... with 80+ years experience buying and selling antiques. As is typical of many estate sellers, Julie, Steve & Mark started as collectors first. Early on, these three were attending garage sales and flea markets throughout the Dallas area ... first with their parents and then later on their own. All three grew up in Dallas ... Julie in Oak Cliff, Steve in University Park and Mark in the Preston Hollow section of Dallas. Steve and Mark met and became friends while in college. The two of them didn’t meet Julie until after graduating from North Texas State University. And then it happened ... all three of them had booths at the Fair Park Flea Market just a few feet from each other. They met, they talked, and before the weekend was over they decided to combine their love of antiques and collectibles and start a new endeavor ... Out of the Attic Estate Sales. That was years ago and they’re still going strong.

Each member of the Out of the Attic team has his or her unique niche in the antique business.

Julie’s speciality ... quilts, Staffordshire items, Victorian pieces, jewelry, etc.
Steve’s area of expertise ... tribal and folk art, sporting goods and coins.
Mark's thing ... books & records, furniture and art.

With so much knowledge among the three, you can bet the Out of the Attic team will put together a great sale for you or a member of your family.

For everyone who’s attended an Out of the Attic sale, you know how fun and fabulous they are while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Julie, Steve and Mark combine their talents and expertise to put on great sales throughout the Metroplex. But don’t think they work exclusively in Dallas. They’ve taken their talents all over the U.S. from New Jersey, to coastal towns in Texas, up into Oklahoma, and as far West as Sante Fe. If a sale warrants traveling, they’ll pack their bags and be there tomorrow.
